Research interests

My research focusses on understanding the dynamics of socio-ecosystems, from a theoretical viewpoint to conservation issues in alpine ecosystems. I seak to improve biodiversity models of species distributions and community dynamics in mountain ecosystems, without neglecting the interactions with the society. I build models or analyse datasets to identify the properties supporting the resilience of ecosystems and socio-ecosystems.
